Summary: Review Request: python-spikeextractors - Python module
for extracting recorded and spike sorted extracellular
data from different file types and formats

Description: SpikeExtractors attempts to standardize data retrieval rather than
data storage. This eliminates the need for shared file formats and allows
for the creation of new tools built off of our data retrieval guidelines.
In addition to implementing multi-format I/O for various formats, the framework
makes it possible to develop software tools that are agnostic
to the underlying formats by working with the standardized python objects
(recording and sorting extractors).
These include processing routines (filters, sorting algorithms, downstream
processing), and visualization widgets.
It also provides mechanisms for lazy manipulation of recordings and sortings
(concatenation, combination, subset extraction).

python-spikeextractors actually covers a lot more extra dependencies than is
listed in the setup.py of the project and these are tested in the unit test
suite, however one of the tests currently fails:
https://github.com/SpikeInterface/spikeextractors/issues/577
I marked unit tests as optional, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Description: AsmTools OpenSource project which helps to develop tools for the
production of proper and improper Java '.class' files.
Also, aids a community of Java .class file production for various testing and
other OpenJDK development applications.
AsmTools consist of a set of (Java class file) assembler/disassemblers:
Jasm/Jdis: an assembler language that provides a Java-like declaration of
member signatures,
while providing Java VM specification compliant mnemonics for byte-code
instructions.
JCod/JDec: an assembler language that provides byte-code containers of
class-file constructs.
AsmTools are developed to support the latest class file formats, in lock-step
with JDK development.

Description: JLine is a Java library for handling console input. It is similar
in functionality to BSD editline and GNU readline. People familiar with the
readline/editline capabilities for modern shells (such as bash and tcsh) will
find most of the command editing features of JLine to be familiar.
This package contains the current contents of the jline package (with a few
minor tweaks) so that jline can move to the 3.x series. As such, this review
falls under the exemption granted in
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:ReviewGuidelines#Package_Review_Pr….
