Summary: Review Request: python-importlib-resources - Read
resources from Python packages
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ktdreyer/python-importlib-resources/epel8…
SRPM:
https://ktdreyer.fedorapeople.org/reviews/python-importlib-resources-1.0.2-…
Description:
importlib_resources is a backport of Python 3.7's standard library
importlib.resources module for 3.4 through 3.6. Users of Python 3.7 and beyond
should use the standard library module, since for these versions,
importlib_resources just delegates to that module.
Note that we don't need this package in Fedora, only in epel8. I only plan to
maintain this for epel8, since we have Python 3.6 there.

SRPM URL:
https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/fed500/rubygem-timeout/f…
Description:
Timeout provides a way to auto-terminate a potentially long-running
operation if it hasn't finished in a fixed amount of time.
Previous versions didn't use a module for namespacing, however
#timeout is provided for backwards compatibility. You should prefer
Timeout.timeout instead.

Comments:
a) Dependency of https://rubygems.org/gems/net-protocol which is a dependency
of https://github.com/wconrad/ftpd which would like to package.
b) rdoc directory currently not packaged due to embedded fonts and javascript.
Can be added later once there is a consistent policy.
c) Tests currently not run because they use rake.
