--- Comment #52 from Stefan Hajnoczi stefanha@redhat.com --- (In reply to Richard W.M. Jones from comment #51)
Both builds whinged about:
- /usr/bin/meson --buildtype=plain --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64
--libexecdir=/usr/libexec --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --includedir=/usr/include --datadir=/usr/share --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --localedir=/usr/share/locale --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --sharedstatedir=/var/lib --wrap-mode=nodownload --auto-features=enabled . redhat-linux-build -Ddebug=true -Doptimization=3 WARNING: Recommend using either -Dbuildtype or -Doptimization + -Ddebug. Using both is redundant since they override each other. See: https://mesonbuild.com/Builtin-options.html#build-type-options
It's a warning, not an error. The build should still proceed.
I think we have to accept the warning for now, unless we're willing to switch away from the %meson macro entirely.
