i disagree that SE-PostgreSQL is thought of as a replacement of PostgreSQL. furthermore, that concern could be addressed with adding sufficient warning to SE-PostgreSQL's %description.
How many people read the %description parts, guys?
i think the reasonable conclusion is that SE-PostgreSQL is broken somewhere and to switch back to PostgreSQL.
As I wrote before, this means a downtime , and usually There Is No Time For Downtime.
Fedora is on the leading edge of SELinux development, and thus is a perfect place to test this extension of PostgreSQL.
Fedora is not the place to test a replacement for PostgreSQL.
We are talking about a database server guys, not a browser, or text editor, or such.
