SDL2_Pango maintainer replied as follows.
Let's stay with 2.1.4 as the SDL2_Pango version for Fedora. I'll increase the underlying product version number in the next update.
The version number that ended up in Slackware is 0.9 (it was my fault, but unintentional). To avoid cross-distribution confusion in the future let's use the higher version and get them aligned in the next release.
