Thanks again for the review, as for %{?python_disable_dependency_generator}, the issue is related to some python packages used by the orignial setup configuration for the tests.
long story short, the tests for this package use testinfra and try to connect to docker/podman and download some container image (it's the main use of package), as all these operations are not possible in a mock environment, I disabled the tests and as such don't see any need to add some extra dependencies that will not be used in the build process.
