echo 2+2 | docker run -i --rm calc
Or:
docker run -i --rm calc < somefile
It turns out that passing an empty command will work...
docker run -it --rm calc ''
...but that isn't necessarily intuitive. I would just drop the CMD directive from the Dockerfile.
