--- Comment #1 from Shawn Iwinski shawn.iwinski@gmail.com --- * Shouldn't source come from https://github.com/wikimedia/utfnormal as that's where Composer installs from? -- https://packagist.org/packages/wikimedia/utfnormal
* Per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:PHP#Naming_scheme, name should be "php-wikimedia-utfnormal"
* Per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:PHP#File_Placement, install path should be "/usr/share/php/UtfNormal/*" to be PSR-0 compliant
* Per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:PHP#Composer_registered_Packages, need to provide "php-composer(wikimedia/utfnormal) = %{version}"
* Tests are provided so they should be run in %check

--- Comment #2 from Tom Hughes tom@compton.nu --- Package Review ==============
Legend: [x] = Pass, [!] = Fail, [-] = Not applicable, [?] = Not evaluated [ ] = Manual review needed
===== Issues ======
[!]: Package must own all directories that it creates. Note: Directories without known owners: /usr/share/php
- This will likely fix itself once the requires are correct
[!]: Package is named according to the Package Naming Guidelines.
- Should be php-wikimedia-utfnormal as it is a composer library?
[!]: Requires correct, justified where necessary.
- PHP addons which are neither PEAR nor PECL should require what makes sense (either a base PHP version or a php-api, php(zend-abi) as necessary). - Pre composer.json maybe "php(language) >= 5.3.3"?
[!]: Package complies to the Packaging Guidelines
- composer.json should be shipped as %doc
[!]: If the source package does not include license text(s) as a separate file from upstream, the packager SHOULD query upstream to include it.
[!]: Final provides and requires are sane (see attachments).
- See above re requires - Needs provide of php-composer(wikimedia/utfnormal) = %{version}
[!]: %check is present and all tests pass.

--- Comment #3 from Tom Hughes tom@compton.nu --- In addition, like the other commenter I'm not sure this is the "real source" as many of the files in src claim to be generated so it may be better to package from github and generate them in %build.

--- Comment #4 from Michael Cronenworth mike@cchtml.com --- Wikimedia created this library. Wikimedia hosts the source in their official git repository. Please, also, see the description on github: "Github mirror of "utfnormal" - our actual code is hosted with Gerrit..."
My preference is to use the official source repository and not github.
This is a pure PHP library so there is nothing to do in %build. Composer is not provided in Fedora.

--- Comment #6 from Tom Hughes tom@compton.nu --- Other than the recommendation (at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:PHP#File_Placement) that composer.json be shipped as %doc that all looks good now, so package is approved.

--- Comment #11 from Remi Collet fedora@famillecollet.com --- hmm.. too fast for me...
Per Guildelines, shoud requires all needed extension. See phpcompatinfo report => php-intl, php-pcre and php-spl
I really consider running test suite as a "MUST" when exists and when possible.
Ex: https://github.com/remicollet/remirepo/commit/1073a91e55dad625b01d41db374a30...
Notice: the generated simple autoloader, needed to run tests, is also installed, which can make easier ti use this library outside of composer project.
