jquery bundling for new packages
by Jens-Ulrik Petersen
TIL that there are around a thousand packages
in Fedora that include a file named jquery.js... [1]
Anyway it is good to see efforts to tackle these kinds of problems
with the Javascript and Web Assets Guidelines. :)
I want to ask if the packaging of grunt and jquery
blocks current package reviews of packages that bundle jquery.js?
Or can they proceed for now until jquery is actually packaged in Fedora?
Jens
ps It is going to be a long cleanup process to fix all those packages with bundled files.

SCL in Fedora
by Marcela Mašláňová
Hi,
I can't attend the meeting this week. Also it seems to me IRC meeting is
not the best option for everyone. Not all of us can join in the evening
(or even worse night).
I add my comments to some question marks on Toshio's draft page. Current
draft is well written and should be usefull also for SCL beginners. My
biggest concern here is the naming propose. I don't want to create such
big incompatibility between downstreams. It would mean much more work
for all interested parties, maybe changes in scl-utils. I'm not sure why
it's needed in this format. Could someone elaborate?

FPC meeting time
by Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski
Dear FPC members,
due to time zone change across EU last weekend, I'm no longer able
to join the meetings at 16:00 UTC. Moving to 17:00 UTC would be
preferable.
Also, I'm not able to attend the meeting this Thursday anyway due
to travel.
Regards,

Review swaps
by Mario Blättermann
Hi all,
I like to swap some reviews. Have a look at my unassigned review tickets:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&component=Package%...
The most important one is postscriptbarcode for the time being. It is a
requirement for Kbarcode, where it is bundled in the upstream tarball.
Please tell me what I can do in return. Note, I have no experience with Java
packages, so I won't be able to do a reasonable review.
Best Regards,
Mario

How to properly install SWIG'ed mono-bindings?
by Björn Esser
Hello list!
I'm currently working on packaging some software, which builds SWIG'ed
mono-bindings and along to this I have some questions not being answered
by the Mono-guidelines [1]:
`make install` installs both into `/usr/lib/cli/%{name}. Which is the
proper location to install the build *.dll && *.so? The one `make
install` puts them? Shall they go into /usr/lib/%{name}? Shall they
be split between /usr/lib and %{_libdir}? Do the both go into
{_libdir}/name?
Is the resulting *.dll to be registered / installed with gacutil? Or
is Mono 'smart' enough to pick that up without, if in proper location?
I hope someone here may know the answer. :)
Cheers,
Björn
