The latest apcupsd ships a Gtk gui and by default installs the following pixmaps:
%{_datadir}/pixmaps/apcupsd.png %{_datadir}/pixmaps/charging.png %{_datadir}/pixmaps/gapc_prefs.png %{_datadir}/pixmaps/onbatt.png %{_datadir}/pixmaps/online.png %{_datadir}/pixmaps/unplugged.png
The names are sufficiently generic enough to seem like this is a bad spot. Is there a standard? Don't see anything on the wiki.
Thanks!

Standards? yes: http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-naming-spec/icon-naming-spec-latest.ht... http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html

FreeDesktop.org does not pusblish standards, but proposals. According to http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Standards, the "Icon Theme" spec is quite agreed, but the "Icon Naming" is too new.
What is the relationship between Fedora and FreeDesktop.org? What fd.o proposals should be considered as guidelines for Fedora? Has it been discuted by Fesco? Is there a Wiki page on the subject?
As far as I understand, FreeDesktop is more a guide for upstream developpers than for downstream.
