Your package amavisd-new appears to include a file in /var/run or /var/lock.
With an upcoming change in Rawhide these directories will now be mounted as
tmpfs. For details about this change please consult
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel-announce/2010-November/00072…
For your package this means that you need add %ghost to all files that are
placed in either of these two directories. Please make sure to make this change
in time for the F15 cycle. For details about %ghost see
http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm-snapshot/s1-rpm-inside-files-list-directives.htm…
, for more information on the F15 feature see the feature page
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/var-run-tmpfs . If your package already
uses %ghost on these files, feel free to close this bug report right-away.
Sorry for this mass bug filing, and if you have any further questions, don't
hesitate to ask on fedora-devel or ask me personally. Thank you, Lennart

perl-Parse-BACKPAN-Packages should be retired in rawhide. It's been replaced
and obsoleted by perl-BackPAN-Index (bug #664204).
The only reverse dependency was perl-Git-CPAN-Patch which now requires the new
perl-BackPAN-Index instead.

Description of problem:
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule fails to build in rawhide.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule-0.37-5.fc14
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rebuild the package
Actual results:
Fails to build.
Expected results:
Success.
Additional info:
* Apparently this package is incompatible to perl-5.12 and can't be built
against it.
* Its upstream appears dead.
This package needs to be made working or it will have to be removed from
Fedora >= 14. AFAICT, this package is not used by Fedora itself, so it's
probably safe to remove it.

Steve,
please respond to bug #611015.
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule fails to build under perl 5.12. It should either be
fixed
or retired. According to rel-eng, perl-sig and perl maintainer can't initiate
EOL for these packages[1].
There have also been automatic broken dependency mails for several weeks
already.

If you believe this is actually a bug in another package, do NOT change the
component in this bug or close this bug. Instead, add the appropriate bug
number from the other package to the "Depends on" line in this bug. If the
other package does not yet have a bug created that you think matches, please
create one. Doing so helps us properly track bugs and their dependencies, just
as we track package dependencies. (If you close this bug, and the other
package is not fixed before the next FTBFS run, a new bug will get created.
Please follow the above advice to avoid such duplication.)

Indeed. perl-Time-Piece-MySQL does not include a Time::Piece
module and therefore must not provide perl(Time::Piece).
Luck has it that a second dependency on Time::Seconds
pulls in perl-Time-Piece. Else it would break.

If you could branch this module for EL-5, it's required for Testopia, which is
currently under review.
I'd be happy to be co-maintainer for EPEL if you'd like, it builds fine as is in F9.
