Please update perl-Email-MIME to 1.861 or later in EPEL 5.
Merging the git f11 branch (1.863) to the el5 branch should do the trick.
bugzilla 3.2.10, which is a security release, requires at least 1.861.
Regards,
Xavier

Please consider updating perl-File-HomeDir in EPEL-5 to at least version 0.86,
which I need for perl-Test-Valgrind. Cloning the EL-6 package would do nicely.
Looking at the upstream changelog, there don't appear to be any incompatible
changes after the current EPEL-5 version (0.62) until version 0.90.
I (pghmcfc) would be happy to co-maintain this package if you're busy or have
lost interest.

Please consider updating perl-Sub-Exporter in EPEL-5 to at least version 0.979,
which I need for perl-Data-Section.
Looking through the upstream changelog, it appears that there have been some
deprecations introduced since version 0.975 in EPEL-5 but I have tried the
0.982 package from the master branch (which I maintain) and the four other
packages in EPEL-5 that require Sub::Exporter all pass their test suites with
version 0.982:
* perl-Moose
* perl-Dist-CheckConflicts
* perl-Mixin-Linewise
* perl-Test-Output
I also maintain some EL-5 packages locally, which are OK with version 0.982:
* perl-Devel-GlobalDestruction
* perl-Test-Moose
* perl-Eval-Closure
* perl-Devel-PartialDump
* perl-B-Hooks-EndOfScope
I would also be happy to co-maintain this branch if you're no longer interested
in it.

I need Params::Util ≥ 0.38 for File::Find::Rule::Perl.
The only incompatible change would be the removal of the long-deprecated
_CALLABLE function (which the current version already issues a warning about
when used), and there are a large number of bug-fixes and enhancements.
If the _CALLABLE function is an issue, it could trivially be re-added:
# Will stay around until end-2006 with a warning, then will be deleted.
sub _CALLABLE {
warn "_CALLABLE has been deprecated. Change to _CODELIKE";
_CODELIKE(@_);
}
(plus add _CALLABLE to @EXPORT_OK)
EL-6 has 1.00 (the next version after 0.38), which would be a good version to
use.
I (pghmcfc) would be happy to co-maintain this package and do the update myself
if you're too busy.

I need PPI ≥ 1.201 for Perl::MinimumVersion.
There are no incompatible changes listed in the changelog between the current
version (1.118) and 1.201, and there are a large number of bug-fixes and
enhancements.
EL-6 has 1.206 so an update to 1.201 would not "overtake" the EL-6 version.
I (pghmcfc) would be happy to co-maintain this package and do the update myself
if you're too busy.
