Since perl -i can be a very helpful tool for scripting and system administration, it would be nice if it preserved ACLs and EAs. ERROR: Can't open/parse the config file /etc/clamd.d/amavisd.conf [FAILED] Turns out FixStaleSocket also requires a boolean argument. I appended a 'yes' to both of these configuration directives and everything is working fine now.
