Summary: perl-Git-Repository-1.324-5.fc34 FTBFS: t/24-errors.t
fails 'warnings: 0' test with a new git 2.30.0
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide

ository
Status: NEW

Blocks: 1868278 (F34FTBFS)
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
perl-Git-Repository-1.324-5.fc34 fails to build in Fedora 34 because the tests
fails like this:
t/22-backward.t ............ ok
hint: Using 'master' as the name for the initial branch. This default branch
name
hint: is subject to change. To configure the initial branch name to use in all
hint: of your new repositories, which will suppress this warning, call:
hint:
hint: git config --global init.defaultBranch <name>
hint:
hint: Names commonly chosen instead of 'master' are 'main', 'trunk' and
hint: 'development'. The just-created branch can be renamed via this command:
hint:
hint: git branch -m <name> at
/builddir/build/BUILD/Git-Repository-1.324/blib/lib/Test/Git.pm line 75.
t/23-quiet.t ............... ok
# Failed test 'warnings: 0'
# at t/24-errors.t line 214.
# got: '1'
# expected: '0'
A difference between the passing and failing build is at
<https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/build/9518052>. An upgrade of git from
2.29.2-4.fc34 to 2.30.0-0.1.rc1.fc34 looks suspicious.
