I have had an issue with X and networking that I am getting closer

isolating. The probelm is that X will not load if the nic is
disconnected. I was able to get it to work last night by configuring
the display with no network connection immediately after installation I
am going to try to recreate today.
I was able to recreate this on a new install after two that did not
screw up. This issue is that X hangs coming up without a cable attached
to the NIC ( dhcp configured eth0)
THis did not happen until I upgraded to the latest xorg-x11 vi yum. I
have filed a bug but it might help if someone else can verify it.
do other mac mini users have problems bringing up X if the box is booted
with no ethernet cable?

I hava also seen intermittent long delays waiting for the dialog when
selecting the desktop->logout menu item. Feed back on this will help me
decide if this is a bug needing to be filed or not.
