Britt,
Thanks for your reply. Really it boils down to participation and
verification. The packages *are* being built. No package, unless we go
out of our way, can be built on koji for poc64 unless the same package
builds in 32bit. Check koji, I think you will find it true.
Didn't know that. Good to hear as I thought ppc32 was dead.
Our biggest gap with 32bit stuff now is capability (and interest) in
verifying the installer and bootloader work. The latter is probably the
bigger issue right now as we are trending to grub2 over yaboot. With
the apple HW, grub2 doesn't seem to install quite proper, though we have
people who have manually worked around it. If I was you, and wanted to
get involved, that would be one of the first areas I would look into and
ensure works (read, submit patches if it doesn't). Koji is already
doing the package building, so I think you are fine there.
During the last ppc32 Fedora release cycle years ago I did bootloader
and installer testing. With the great, nearly real-time, support from
David Woodhouse & others in #fedora-ppc kinks were ironed out quickly. I
can again help test the bootloader & installer on my now rather dusty
RS/6000 43P-150 (CHiRP).
One thing that has been discussed is if ppc64 and ppc32 should break
into two projects. That might give you more control on output but it
also puts the responsibility in your hands to deliver a Fedora 32bit.
Anyways on IRC we try to be helpful and I will try to help you were I
can, but I now also lack the HW to test outputs.
Maybe a call for interested parties would help to see how many people
still have 32bit PPC hardware and would like to participate? It be
pretty cool if my ancient 43P-150 were able to run F19 or F20 :-)

Patrick
