#837: Build in F-8 branch aborted after srpm step

I've successfully build qpidc-0.3.700546 on the F-9 branch, but using the
same exact specfile and sourcefile fails under the F-8 branch with the
following message (the -1 and -2 releases are identical):
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=859743
{{{
ENTER do(['bash', '--login', '-c', 'rpmbuild -bs --target x86_64 --nodeps
builddir/build/SPECS/qpidc.spec'], False,
'/var/lib/mock/dist-f8-build-266140-48669/root/', None, 86400, True, 0,
427, 102, None, logger=<mock.trace_decorator.getLog object at
0x2b5ff5e74f90>)
Executing command: ['bash', '--login', '-c', 'rpmbuild -bs --target x86_64
--nodeps builddir/build/SPECS/qpidc.spec']
sh: /usr/bin/python: No such file or directory
warning:

Wrote: /builddir/build/SRPMS/qpidc-0.3.700546-2.fc8.src.rpm
Child returncode was: 0
LEAVE do -->
}}}
Looks like the build process is aborted after the srpm is generated and I
can't figure out why, since nothing is different in the spec and source
between F-8 and F-9.
Could you please take a look at the buildscripts, or let me know if
there's anything missing/wrong on my side?
Thanks,
[[BR]]

New language codes?
by Paul W. Frields
If the Docs Project is able to complete a transition to Publican for
the release notes for Fedora 10, many of our language codes will
change to ISO standards. This includes moving from en_US to en-US, as
in "Release_Notes-en-US.txt".
It would probably be good if any tools used to spin or release the
distribution get updated to support both of these options. I would
suggest shifting them to use the ISO standard, en-US, first and the
try falling back to en_US. That way, if we fail utterly and have to
drop back to the old way of doing business, the results will still
land properly.

Hi, again I'm trying to build current versions of my team's packages in
Koji for F9 (updates), and for those builds to succeed I'd need to have
current versions of the dependent packages in the buildroots.
The dependent packages for the rhm package are:
amqp-1.0.700546-1
[[BR]]
python-qpid-0.3.700546-1
[[BR]]
qpidc-0.3.700546-1
Could you move them into the buildroot, please?
Thanks in advance,
[[BR]]

[Fedora Release Engineering] #834: Drop "nail" package from F10 and rawhide

The idea of "nail" package was to include into Fedora the newest
implementation of the ancient /bin/mail command -- by "Heirloom mailx"
project. The name of "nail" was chosen to not conflict with the existed
mailx-8.x ("Nail" was an initial name of Heirloom mailx).
Since Fedora 10, the old mailx-8.x is replaced with Herloom mailx. Thus no
more need for "nail" package (it is now the same as the ordinary mailx).
All "Obsoletes:" etc. are done as usual.
Please, drop "nail" from the upcoming F10 and rawhide.
