#172: add s390utils back into Fedora ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Reporter: sharkcz | Owner: rel-eng(a)lists.fedoraproject.org Type: task | Status: new Milestone: | Component: koji Keywords: | ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------ s390utils were dropped when Fedora dropped s390(x) support some time ago. Now there is an effort for s390x as secondary architecture. I am the owner of s390utils in RHEL and so I would like to maintain it in Fedora too. There should be only one source of packages even for secondary architectures and this is our pkgdb + cvs. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/172> Fedora Release Engineering <http://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng> Release Engineering for the Fedora Project

[Fedora Release Engineering] #963: 3 FEL apps segmentation fault

#963: 3 FEL apps segmentation fault -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Reporter: chitlesh | Owner: rel-eng(a)lists.fedoraproject.org Type: task | Status: new Milestone: Fedora 10 Final | Component: koji Keywords: | -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Hello there, I have the following 3 packages that needs to be tagged for F10, so that they can feature on the FEL livecd. Their current tagged n-v-r crashes with a segmentation fault on launch. * The koji build nvr (name-version-release) ktechlab-0.3.69-10.20081031svn.fc10 alliance-5.0-22.20070718snap.fc10 gwave-2-10.20070514snap.fc10 * A description of what you want to change I want the above packages tagged for F10 so that they can be on the FEL livecd. Their previous n-v-r crashes with a segmentation fault. * Rationale for why the change is important enough to be allowed in after the final freeze. The FEL Livedvd is a marketing media for Fedora. It is a shame to ship applications that crashes on launch. It is also a shame for me to recommend small companies and universities to move to Fedora with broken package. * Impact of *not* accepting the development at this point of the schedule. Affecting (in a negative manner) the marketing material of the FEL deployment. ---- Sorry about this late call. I recently moved to another city (third time this year) here in Belgium and today I got my own internet connection. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/963> Fedora Release Engineering <http://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng> Release Engineering for the Fedora Project

At 20 minutes to 1500 UTC install the torrent and "spins" .ini files to start the torrents going. Ensure that torrents are seeding correctly. Coordinate with torrent seeders via #fedora-admin to ensure they are ready to go.
