It fixes minor SELinux related glitch in init script. It is really a small fix, no testing is needed. (I deleted code making SELinux unhappy and instead I put there simple testing for $EUID=0). Also I'd like to consult xinetd-2.3.14-28.fc12. It contains modification which adds new config option to xinetd. Old config code remains intact. I tested the change locally, seems to be running just fine. But still I'm not sure what the policy should be here. Should it be left as an update candidate or could it be moved to F12 final? Very. Without this update the cluster stack won't correctly make services available and will crash or deadlock under specific workloads. * How much have you tested it? Lots. This is moderate priority due to one of the bugs involving a traceback. Here are the changes: {{{ * Fri Oct 30 2009 Tim Waugh <twaugh(a)redhat.com> 1.1.13-6 - Avoid traceback in IPP notification handlers (bug #530641). - Avoid epydoc dependency. * Thu Oct 29 2009 Tim Waugh <twaugh(a)redhat.com> 1.1.13-5 - Added upstream patch for custom state reasons (bug #531872). - Strip 'zjs' from make-and-model as well (bug #531869). }}} The most important fix is the one preventing a traceback in certain conditions (bug #530641). This fix is simple and targeted: it wraps some function calls with try..except for a specific exception. Next most important is the custom state reasons support (bug #531872). This small allows us to show a sensible error message when HPLIP tries to use a printer for which it requires a proprietary plugin. This does not add any translatable string to system-config-printer. The patch has been upstream in the master branch since August and I have back-ported it to 1.1.x (which required only one change). The 'zjs' fix (bug #531869) is a cosmetic UI fix, but one worthwhile fixing to avoid confusing display of model names. Finally, the epydoc dependency removal is a build simplification. When the plugin is configured to play a sound and the default sound is not found, it crashes. So I required gnome-audio, but it's no longer available in F12. Now I require freedesktop-sound-theme and patched the default sound accordoingly. I have tested this update on F-11, F-12 Beta and rawhide.
