I assume the createrepo instance that generates the Fedora 9 updates-
newkey/updates-testing-newkey is the RHEL-5 version?
Can we change this to be the Fedora 9 version so that we'll get group_gz
as well as group (ie. comps.xml.gz as well as comps.xml). This makes for
much less data to download, to get group information.

Here are some ideas that came out of an internal meeting for Fedora 10
1) Reduce the number of manual steps necessary to compose a
release--Jesse should not have to stay up all night to get the release
out the door
a) enumerate current steps
b) identify steps that can be reduced
c) target steps to be reduced for Fedora 10
d) expand existing documentation so that more people can participate
in compose process
2) Build system enhancements (plague) and make it less fragile
3) Finish pyjigdo so hand-editing of jigdo files isn't necessary
4) Finish signing server
5) Integrate delta packages as early as possible in cycle--complete
integration with build system
6) Automated tree validation after compose (dgregor's checktree and
treediff scripts as a short-term solution?)
7) More focus on secondary architectures working
8) More days of "installable rawhide"
a) tooling?
b) easy way to collect metrics?

#1949: noarch MinGW debuginfo packages don't get placed in the debuginfo
repository
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: epienbro | Owner: rel-eng(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Type: task | Status: new
Milestone: | Component: mash
Keywords: |
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
A few days ago we (the Fedora MinGW SIG) started experimenting with
generating -debuginfo subpackages for our libraries. For this we've
created some custom scripts to strip out debug information to separate
files and added some RPM macro's to create -debuginfo subpackages
containing these files. This has been discussed at
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/fedora-
mingw/2009-June/001748.html
The RPM scripts were added in mingw32-filesystem-52-1.fc12 and some of our
regular MinGW packages were rebuild as can be seen at
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=111400
After waiting for the next rawhide push we discovered that the
mingw32-glib2-debuginfo subpackage wasn't published in the rawhide-
debuginfo repository. We think it's caused by the fact that our mingw32
packages are noarch.

Need buildroot override. igraph-devel-0.5.2 (and igraph-0.5.2) is needed
to build python-igraph-0.5.2. This is for F10, F9. (F11 is currently
locked, so I guess this will be done later?)

lcdf-typetools was orphaned at time of FC-6. I got this package reviewed
successfully and when trying to import it, I get "FAILED: BuildError:
package lcdf-typetools is blocked for tag
dist-f12"
I have requested branches for F-10, F-11, F-9. Can someone please unblock
this package from all branches so that I can build it.

Hi Release Engineering Team,
At your earliest convenience please fill the name of the additional
person from your team that would like to attend the Fedora 11
Retrospective. This meeting will be a conference call to talk about the
good and not so good of the Fedora 11 release cycle in with the hope
that we can make Fedora 12 even better!
If the team lead is not able to attend please substitute another person
on the sign-up page below so that there are two people from each team.
