#5521: snapshot no longer available for master branch on git repo

Hi,
In my nightly build automation, I used to be able to pull down a snapshot
like this:
wget -O 389-ds-base-1.3.0.3.tar.gz
'http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=389/ds.git;a=snapshot;h=master;sf=tgz'
recently, that stopped working. Can this ability be restored?
Thanks,
Kevin Wright

#5427: Clean obsoleted packages from repositories

See
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2012-December/175557.html
Packages which are obsoleted by other packages effectively can't be
installed. (They can be added by hand, but will be replaced on yum update
in the default configuration.)
If they're obsolete, we shouldn't ship them, so they should be cleaned
from the F18 (and rawhide?) trees.

The x86_64 repos for Fedora 17 currently contain the i686 versions of
java-1.7.0-openjdk. These should be removed as 32-bit on 64-bit packages
are not supported atm:

#5506: Please create Koji tag: f19-maven-experimental

I would like to ask for a custom tag in Koji, inherited from f19-build.
Preferred name of the tag would be f19-maven-experimental. This tag would
be used to build Java packages that use Maven as their build system, which
would be later tagged to f19.
Reasons:
1) auto-requires for Java packages are being introduced[1] in Fedora 19 as
a feature and they could possibly cause some breakage
2) I maintain large number of packages (250+) and it's hard to verify
every single package for correctness of auto-requires
3) Some packages have cyclic dependencies and they need to be tagged at
the same time. Building packages without tagging them and sharing a list
of things to tag between several people poses difficulties. Tagging to a
custom tag would be a solution.
Thank you in advance.

According to the wiki article [1] I must file a ticket in this bugtracker
if I want to retire my package.
These packages have been retired:
- qxmpp-dev
- leechcraft
Please block they from the appropriate collections.
Minh.

#5495: mysql-embedded-devel.i686 in x86_64 repository

Hi,
we get Broken dependencies reports for package mysql in Rawhide:
{{{
mysql has broken dependencies in the rawhide tree:
On x86_64:
mysql-embedded-devel-5.5.30-1.fc19.i686 requires real-mysql-
embedded(x86-32) = 0:5.5.30-1.fc19
mysql-embedded-devel-5.5.30-1.fc19.i686 requires libmysqld.so.0
On x86_64:
mysql-devel-5.5.30-1.fc19.i686 requires real-mysql(x86-32) =
0:5.5.30-1.fc19
Please resolve this as soon as possible.
}}}
It is most probably caused by presence of mysql-embedded-devel.i686 in
x86_64 repository but missing mysql-embedded.i686 there, which is needed
by -devel package. The same situation is with mysql-devel.i686 and
mysql.i686.
I'd say that if there is i686 -devel package in the repo, it should also
include the depended one. Or what do I miss?

Hi,
I would like to take over mingw-openjpeg, which is marked deprecated in
F19 and F20. Does that need a new review or can it somehow else be
undeprecated?
Thanks,
Tom

There has been this discussion:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/test/2012-April/106961.html
After some responses were gathered on test list, I humbly ask RelEng team
to keep all the TCs/RCs available in the future until Fedora Branched is
GOLD, unless some technical problems appear (storage, bandwidth). It will
improve the release quality.
