Fedora 29 Beta Release Readiness meeting
by Ben Cotton
Dear all,
Join us on irc.freenode.net in #fedora-meeting-1 for the Fedora 29
Beta Release Readiness meeting. This meeting will be held on Thursday,
2018-09-13 at 19:00 UTC.
We will meet to make sure we are coordinated and ready for the Beta
release of Fedora 29. Please note that this meeting will be held even
if the release is delayed at the Go/No-Go meeting on the same day two
hours earlier.
You may receive this message several times in order to open this
meeting to the teams and to raise awareness, so hopefully more team
representatives will come to this meeting. This meeting works best
when we have representatives from all of the teams.
For more information, see
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Readiness_Meetings.
I will ask for readiness from each of the teams listed below. If there
are additional teams that should be explicitly included, let me know.
All teams and contributors are welcome to provide input at the
meeting.

* Cloud WG
* Design
* Desktop

[release] pungi 4.1.28
by Lubomír Sedlář
Hello everyone,
a new version of Pungi is available! The 4.1.28 build is ready to be
used. There are updates waiting in Bodhi to go to updates-testing.
This is mostly a bugfix release.
* Fixes including multiple modules that differ in context.
* Modules can now correctly include renamed packages (specified
with buildopts whitelist).
* When modules are specified by NSVC (or a part of it) now respect
Koji event.
* Modules from a Koji tag can now be filtered.
* The handler for waiting until ostree commit is signed now waits
for the ref to be updated too.
* Calls to Koji API can be cached if no arguments changed. This is
aimed mostly at ODCS, regular composes will never use the same
arguments.
Refer to the documentation [0] for details on what configuration
options are available.

If you encounter problems or need general help, stop by #fedora-releng
IRC channel or file issues in Pagure.
Happy composing!

[releng] Issue #7766: Claiming libxcrypt
by Florian Weimer
fweimer reported a new issue against the project: `releng` that you are following:
``
`libxcrypt` is subject to the unresponsive maintainer process. I do not actually want to maintain it, but I will take it to prevent it from becoming orphaned.

[releng] Issue #7765: 20180902: Release Fedora 28 Atomic Host
by Sayan Chowdhury
sayanchowdhury reported a new issue against the project: `releng` that you are following:
``
You should be able to do it with this command:
```
python push-two-week-atomic.py -k fedora-28 -r 28 --pungi-compose-id Fedora-28-updates-20180902.0
```
We will be using AH artifacts from Fedora-28-updates-20180902.0, hence no --ostree-pungi-compose-id option is needed.
