Please tell me how to get started.

Hi everyone.
I use linux for like 1.5 years. Have a huge craze to use every possible linus distros. I ended up crashing my hard disk :p

After using linux all this time, I want to develop for fedora.
I know python, C++, C.

Can anyone please help me out as to how start off.
