sure what next steps to take. This is going from one big package from disparate sources to
several separate packages (speech-tools will be separate, and each voice will be its own
package, now). How do you recommend landing this in Rawhide?

@mattdm - since the package has been divided into more packages then each of the new
packages must go through the [package review
process](https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_Review_Process).

@tyrylu can start building the new festival and all its packages in rawhide once all of
these new packages are approved.

handled as any other new package?

@tyrylu - once all the *other* packages are approved then make your changes in the current
festival package in dist-git to match the new package structure and then start building
the package.

I would suggest that you file another ticket at this point to request a side-tag so you
can build all of them 'outside' the main build target just for extra safety.

it to the repos, however, so far i lack the packager privileges. Could someone help with
that?

Partial success - speech-tools is in, but i discovered an efford to do the same at
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1457878, so i thought that i'll not go
with the festival package itself, but the decision appears not to be as good as
thought...
