#3259: How to unretire package ? ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: jpopelka | Owner: rel-eng@lists.fedoraproject.org Type: task | Status: new Milestone: | Component: other Keywords: | ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- On dhcp package page https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packages/name/dhcp I clicked by an accident on 'Retire package' in Fedora 11. Now it has Deprecated status and there's no button to do something with it. Is there any way I can unretire it (and take the ownership) ? Thanks

This is the right way to get it unretired. I've done so now. You'll still need to take ownership of the package. Anyone in the cvsadmin group can unretire a package. The reason it's limited to this group is when it's not clicked by mistake, a retired package usually needs a re-review before it's let back into the distribution.
