 Due to various reasons [1] I want to retire opyum from Fedora. I have
 removed all the source files from the devel branch and put in a
 dead.package file. I am not sure whether we can remove it from F-9
 too. Can I?

Comment:

Since the things that opyum depend on were not in F-9, you should be OK to
 just not ship any updates in F-9 and consider it a dead package.  I'll
 block it from dist-f9 and above.
