Thought this was worthwhile posting to this list - I know that the
Fusion Linux guys are also interested in implementing Jockey, but there
could be more of us.
The Parsidora remix has Ubuntu's Jockey device manager[1] working for
Fedora[2] and is available for testing[3]. I think they are looking for
help to test on as much hardware as possible.
The default uses PackageKit but I've also ported it to Yum (for a
cleaner implementation) and the code is available on github[4].
Theoretically it should be a simple enough replacement (oslib.py)
however I haven't done much testing so there will be bugs.
