Hello,
I am trying to upgrade from v4.11.0 to v4.13.1. I have unzipped the 4.13.1 file in the same parent directory on Linux, and tried the rhqctl upgrade -from-server-dir (directory) and am receiving the following error:
ERROR [org.rhq.server.control.RHQControl] The storage node upgrade failed with exit code [12]
ERROR [org.rhq.storage.installer.StorageInstaller] Failed to update version stamp: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to update Storage Node [servername] to version [4.13.1]. I have the proper driver which works in my current 4.11 install: ojdbc5-11.1.0.7.0.jar This is located in rhq-server-4.13.1/modules/org/rhq/oracle/main
Am I missing something?
Regards,
Barry
I'm not sure but at the front of that driver url I see "jbdc" instead of "jdbc".

I fixed the typo ☺ Now it appears the upgrade on both RHQ servers finishes, but gets an error when about complete on both: Is this due to the storage node auth file not having both server hostnames in it? If so, I can’t update the file because it gets rolled back when I CTL-C out of the rolling errors on the upgrade, so the rhq-storage directory never gets created.

It appears the JBoss Appserver is not starting up. Nothing else is listening on port 9999, but its receiving the connection refused error. We obviously are upgrading here, so the current 4.11 version of RHQ works just fine.
