Keep in mind the JBossAS/EAP plugin uses an "online" discovery model.
In other words, the instance has to be online/started for the plugin to
automatically discover it from a process table scan. That probably
isn't your issue, but just thought I'd mention it to cover all angles.

As for discovering EAP 5.0, I'd try running the "discovery" command
from the Agent prompt and analyze its output; see if the OS process
scan at least finds the EAP process. I'd also look in the Agent log
for any errors or other messages relating to AS5 discovery.
