Hi everyone!
I'am totally new to the list, and pretty new to RHQ as well. I use 4.8
My current problem is: There are three almost identical servers, both of which are RHQ servers, the third runs only the agent. The hardware and the Linux distro (Debian) are identical.
All three agents reported the filesystem status differently - Filesystem inventory was the same, but one of the agens reported freee and used space, one only free, and the third measured nothing.
Soince I couldn't find a way to configure the plugin, I tried to uninventory the whole, with great success.
The only problem is that I cannot Inventory them again. These aren't in the autodiscovery list neighter I can add it by hand!
Any idea but "reinstall all three systems"?
Regards,
Attila

How were metric collection schedules configured for FS resources? Metric collection happens asynchronously and it could take time to see all scheduled metrics to appear in all platforms.
Filesystems resources are services. They won't appear in the discovery queue. They'll be re-discovered. Go the platform operations tab and run a detailed discovery. Wait for the operation to complete and refresh the resource tree view.

Thanks the advice Thomas!
Rediscover helped on one platform out of the three. After several hours, I guess there should all filesystems to be visible. The schedules were configured as the default. The system ran through several days, so I wasn't really inpatient :)
This is strange, that the Operations never changed their state. I have scheduled the "manual discovery" to be run "in 120 seconds" - but I guess it has never been started.
On the first platform - where rediscovered anyway - there is no succesful (or any other) operation in the History tab! There isn't such on the others of course.
