Failed adding process

I am using 4.2 version and I got this exception while adding process:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to create process based on
plugin config: Configuration[id=0]
    at
org.rhq.plugins.platform.ProcessDiscoveryComponent.discoverResource(ProcessDiscoveryComponent.java:55)

what does it mean? How can I fix it?

Please look in the agent.log file of the Agent on the platform where 
you're trying to add the process Resource, and see if you can find a 
full stack trace for the RuntimeException. With that, we should be able 
to diagnose the issue.

Thanks.

I looked at the source for ProcessDiscoveryComponent.discoverResource() 
and unfortunately it was swallowing the root cause exception. I have 
fixed this in the master branch of RHQ git. If you checkout master and 
build the platform plugin, update your RHQ to the new version of the 
platform plugin, then attempt the manual add again to re-trigger the 
exception, you should get a stack trace in the Agent log that includes 
the root cause.

I recently did this on various platforms successfully.  Does the RHQ 
agent process have permission to access the target process info?  If so, 
what platform/jdk are you running?
