Hi all,
after a long time after the merge of the s390x arch into the main koji build-system we finally got the remaining infrastructure issue fixed and we should be having the composes for F-27 and Rawhide available regularly, see compose/Server/s390x/ or compose/Everything/s390x/ directory at [1] for F-27 and [2] for Rawhide. And there will be official s390x composes for the F-27 GA testing, alongside all other architectures.
Right now we see a segfault related to the transactional execution (TE) when the installer boots the kernel, it has been reported as [3], seems related to the lock elision in glibc. The TE bit is now visible in guests under z/VM 6.4, earlier an LPAR was required to make use of the TE feature. Using a one-off compose with special glibc build with the lock elision disabled I was able go through the installation and got a working system after the installation.
