As the community grows and usage of SSG expands into more organizations, this sort of statement seems to make sense — and helps address some common questions that have popped up more often recently. Looks good.

agree with David that this type of clarification is reasonable as usage of SSG content grows.
There are two typos in the text: * DISA Security Technical Implimentation Guides, +or STIGs. (s/Implimentation/Implementation) * the iase.disa.mil website is authoratative (s/authoratative/authoritative)
but otherwise the proposal looks good. ACK from me for its inclusion.
