Hi friends of science!

I am Andrei R. I work for a research institute and my main interest is packages related to
next-generation sequencing data analysis such as:

Also I am looking forward to help as co-maintainer of packages if needed.

I am glad that you are interested in the packages related to
next-generation sequencing data analysis.
Because I am also interested in the packages, and spending some time

When you make new RPM package, there is a step that you are sponsored
by someone to get a "packager" role.
After you get the "packager" role, a package's maintainer can add you
as a co-maintainer.

P.S.
I am working at Red Hat. The job is related to Ruby language, not
related to Genomics or Bio tech.

This has changed a bit in recent years. You can now be added to the
packager group *as a co-maintainer* and learn while you help maintain
package:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_get_sponsored_into_the_packager_group

A few of us here are sponsors to the packager group. So please, feel
free to follow any of the steps listed in the page above and ping us.
We'll be happy to help you learn the necessary skills/process and

I'd also suggest introducing yourself to the wider community on the
devel mailing list if you haven't done so. Scitech is quite a small part
