To be fair, the same is true for legacy BIOS boot. You need the MBR
code installed on all bootable disks, you need the partition with the
boot code at the beginning of the disk on all disks, and they have to
be marked as bootable.
With F34 it is different: If you define a partition as raid member and then install and
format /boot on it, Anaconda automatically installs the mbr on all disks - according to my
testing when I wrote the Server install documentation. So, as a sysadmin installing Server
you don’t need to fiddle with all of this. Just use custom and you are up and running.
But again, before we can make GPT the default, we must be sure it works smoothly with
software raid.
