Hello Teams,
I'm Alberto from the Marketing team, I'm asking for help to complete
the Fedora 29 Talking points[1].
Talking points are key highlights of the new release. There are
different types of talking points for different types of people:
general desktop users/everyone, developers, and sysadmins. They are
meant to provide a short, effective answer to the question "What cool
stuff is in the latest release of Fedora?" They are compelling, not
necessarily comprehensive.
Best Regards.

Sorry for the long delay on this. I asked Martin Pitt the other day to
put together a list of the major improvements to Cockpit this cycle...
and they are many!
Here's what he sent me:
Hello Steve,
the other day you asked me about summarizing the major cockpit improvements
since 165. How about this:
* FreeIPA integration:
- Automatically set up Kerberos keytab for Cockpit web server, so
that single-sign on works without Cockpit login page
- Cockpit's web server automatically gets and uses an IPA-generated
SSL certificate
- Domain admins can administer the local machine with Cockpit
- Respect centrally managed SSH known_hosts list
* On-demand installation of additional functionality such as NFS client
support, realmd, PCP, VDO, or dnf-automatic.
* Networking: Add UI for firewalld
* Machines: Configure vCPUs, storage devices, and network interfaces
* Storage: Add support for LUKSv2 encrypted devices and enrolling to a
Clevis/Tang server
The indivial release notes at
https://cockpit-project.org/blog/ have more
information (and sometimes screenshots and videos) about these, but I think the
above covers the most visible things. Please let me know if something is
unclear and needs to be refined.
