Hello, Server SIG!
After a conversation I had last week with Christian Schaller, the Workstation SIG has extended a request to include specific requirements on our Domain Controller role to ensure that it interoperates properly with their Fleet Commander tool (which in turn interoperates with Cockpit).
Alberto Ruiz has sent a pull request[1] to the proposal we approved last week, asking us for feedback on a new user story and requirements section. I'd appreciate it if everyone could take a look.

I'm confused by the above. It seems that we're being asked to include Fleet Commander and desktop configuration management workflows.
AIUI, this role is exclusively for the server side, and to have clients be *able* to talk to it - not assisting in the configuration of any such clients. Of course, if there are requirements of the server in order for Fleet Commander to function optimally, then those are appropriate for this role. However, this seems to impose requirements that the Server SIG is incapable of fulfilling.
Note that I'm not saying that this is invalid in any way, simply that it's outside the scope of what the Server SIG is capable of overseeing. There's obviously plenty of value in providing client automation as well.
