Today, during the Server SIG weekly meeting, I announced that I plan to step
down from the Server Working Group (and by extension as the FESCo liaison),
effective at 1600 UTC on Tuesday March 29th, or following the Fedora 24 Alpha Go
decision, whichever comes later.
This was a difficult decision for me, but there were several factors in my
decision. One was burn-out: I've been giving a lot of myself to this project and
it has been draining. The other was that my tasks at Red Hat have shifted away
from the base platform and into the PaaS world and thus I can justify less of my
paid time to work on Fedora Server directly.
So for a time at least, I am going to step away and watch from a distance. To
that end, we will want to start looking for
1) Someone new to occupy my former seat on the WG
2) A WG member to take over duties as chair and FESCo liaison
