Thn again, in large scale deployments you'd likely be installing using a kickstart file so you'd not really be that worried about vnc/text modes.

Hi, true fact about the kickstart usage. Which reminds me to test if the installer borks out on filesystem creation with ks, never tried that to be honest.
That's why I need the "manual partition" layout.

1) Create partitions in recue mode with parted.
2) Assign the mountpoints and fs types during installation.
