Hello list,
during search for errors during install I stumbled upon the graphics card, my Blade 100 has XVR-100 graphics. Is this a known problem? A quick search in google did not reveal this as a problem, but I didn't find a successful installation involving this card.
AuroraLinux Wiki shows, Linux does not work on this card. Uhh.
Has anybody a hint for me, some links..?

I successfully installed Fedora Sparc 9 on a Sunblade 2500 with XVR-100 card. I was not able to install Fedora Sparc 14, or install Fedora 9 on the Sunblade with an XVR-600 card.

You can use the netinst iso, and boot from a tftp server. I had to connect my laptop to the serial port and use HyperTerm to install. From the Openboot prom, you need to set the following:
setenv input-device ttyS0 setenv output-device ttyS0
setenv network-boot-arguments host-ip=<ip-address>,hostname=<hostname>,router-ip=<router-ip-address>,subnet-mask=255.255.255.0,file=tftp://<ip of tftp server>/<boot img>
