I have a Sun Sunfire V120 with 1GB ram and I have tried testing out the 9-Beta ISO. I have gotten the netboot ISO to work, but I cannot get the DVD iso working.
Upon booting with the DVD iso, I get to 'SI' then it stops and it never continues. I am burning the ISO to a DVD+R disc and using the X7288A internal DVD-Rom drive.
If I use the netboot ISO, I have to use the menu options to get through everything for setting up the network cards, IPs, etc. However, I tried to utilize a kickstart configuration, but it seems to never see it.
Here's the command line I am using for the boot: linux ks=http://192.168.0.3/ks/epsilon.cfg ksdevice=eth0 ip=192.168.0.11 dns=192.168.0.2 gateway=192.168.0.2 netmask=255.255.255.0 noipv6
The kickstart configuration can be seen here: http://www.murpe.com/ks/epsilon.cfg

maybe try ksdevice=link the devices may be swapped :( using link will give you the interface with the plugged in. im assuming that the nework is not coming up correctly.
