I was thinking I should try to follow the recurring spins process and I
notice that we link to a page that hasn't been written yet.
So that's something we should talk about at our next meeting.
I have updated the Games Spin page to list tasks I would like to work on
(mostly getting a test plan) for F12 and put back into Spins_Incomplete, and
this message is notification to the group that I plan on working on the Spin
again for F12. Anything else I need to do?
One thing I would like to work on for f12 is verifying whether or not squashfs
just uses lzma in f12 (this should be supported in the 2.6.30 kernel) and
if not see if I can help (maybe with some code, but probably more with
nagging) get this used in livecd-creator. Since the games spin is tight on
space, it would be nice to be able to have better compression. But I think
almost everyone will benefit from this. I'll be tracking this on the games
spin page since it will affect what I can do with new additions.
I'm a casual participant in the Spins process and usual asker of
questions on this list :)
Did all the spins test out okay?
How are we advertising them for Fedora 11 release day?
The list has been quiet so I realize it is possible this is already
done, but I did want to ask.
