As it stands at the moment it only affects the spins that use it but over time I would like the following:
- eventually for it to be merged upstream into the main base file so its not needed
- others to review it and use it in the mean time so it can be improved and debugged to make it easier to merge

It was only created as it stripped 100 odd meg of a live CD reducing from around 500 to 400 meg.
