Hi,
I want to create a desktop launcher for a specific application which is
already in the menu.
How to do this while building the ISO file.

Take a look at the qa-testday spin for at least one way to do this.
It sets the list to a fixed list rather than adding to the default. That
is simpler but doesn't automatically adapt to other changes.
