 We really don't need to install all the language support groups for F10.

 I propose the attached patch which might save us almost 100MB.

 589M with current master fedora-livecd-desktop{,-default}.ks
 681M with current F-10 fedora-livecd-desktop-default.ks

 I posted the list above as a diff over the weekend: basically they are all
 fonts that are not needed by most users.

 They are just metapackages, and in the long term I would like to deprecate
 them anyway.  This change also brings Live one step closer normal default
 installs which is a good thing IMHO.  (The diff is the difference in the
 total package sets.)

 (I don't like to moan but I did suggest this change about 2 years ago in
 bugzilla but the livecd-tools owner did not hear me.:)

 What is the final decision for F10 then, or are we already past that?

 I don't think the change can have any serious impact given that it is what
 we do for normal installs anyway.

 Yeah, definitely too late for F10 IMHO

 And this does make differences vs "regular" installs as a regular install
 does the support of the langsupport group corresponding to the locale, so
 there will be font differences for a Korean DVD install vs this.

 The total size of all the oo.o langpack rpms is about 589M so I kind of
 doubt we will be shipping them all in Live any time soon, but I agree
 pushing all langpacks for any package is not really the solution.

 Similarly for kde-l10n 203M.  eclipse-nls is "only" 45M.  I would also
 like to see firefox langpacks but we need some infrastructure for
 langpacks first before that is viable (sellable?): I am looking into a yum
 plugin for lang packs...
