Miguel, I'm not sure how Ubuntu/Debian handles this, but 0.5.0 is
unreleased as yet. You may want to tag that as 0.5.0alpha or somesuch to
avoid confusion.

0.5.0 final is currently scheduled for release on Aug 24th.

Right. I'd recommend to use the following scheme to correctly number
the package version: 0.5.0~gitYYYYMMDD with YYYYMMDD representing the
date. The version number has to be incremented at every new package in
order to upgrade correctly.

For today:

 0.5.0~git20090807-0ubuntu1

OK.
Redone with the right version number.
Minor fixes to see "if it builds".

Also pushed to LP the "debian" dir:
[migpc@crow:~/Code/sssd/debian-0.5]$bzr push lp:~migpc/freeipa/sssd-0.5

(sssd-0.5 should be the for the "debian" files to be used during the
whole 0.5.x series)

Deleted the PPA Packages and uploaded as 0.5.0alpha.

I'd suggest to setup a local build environment [1] to test whether the
package can build correctly. I don't recommend to use PPA to check
whether a package builds correctly.

I was setting my build enviroment up but wasn't finished yet. Thanks for
the tip anyway.

I uploaded to PPA so everybody could have the latest I've done as I'll
be (surely) w/o connection for the next two seeks.
