Bug ID: 1906802 Summary: sssd-2.4.0-3.fc33 breaks kinit Product: Fedora Version: 33 Status: NEW Component: sssd Severity: urgent Assignee: sssd-maintainers@lists.fedoraproject.org Reporter: kvolny@redhat.com QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: abokovoy@redhat.com, atikhono@redhat.com, jhrozek@redhat.com, lslebodn@redhat.com, mzidek@redhat.com, pbrezina@redhat.com, rharwood@redhat.com, sbose@redhat.com, ssorce@redhat.com, sssd-maintainers@lists.fedoraproject.org Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora
Description of problem: Some recent upgrade broke my kerberos setup. Grepping /var/log/dnf.rpm.log for krb5 to find recent kerberos updates, then trying `dnf downgrade sssd-krb5` fixed the problem.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sssd-krb5-2.4.0-3.fc33.x86_64
How reproducible: always
Steps to Reproduce: 1. setup /etc/krb5.conf 2. $ kinit kvolny@EXAMPLE.COM
Actual results: kinit: Credentials cache I/O operation failed while getting default ccache
Expected results: Password for kvolny@EXAMPLE.COM:

--- Comment #1 from Alexey Tikhonov atikhono@redhat.com --- I guess this should be fixed in https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/pull/5432
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1906802
--- Comment #2 from Pavel Březina pbrezina@redhat.com --- Yes, Though I unpushed the update immediately, so it has definitely not been pushed to stable and should not even be available in updates-testing.
Unfortunately, koji is unresponsive today so I'm not able to create a new update.
