GCI 2013 - Mentors required (8 days left)

Hello All,
Google Code in 2012 will be starting on 26th November, that means only
days left.
Therefore we are looking for mentors who can assist with the students
mentoring them at least with 2 tasks. If you are interested please do
contact us asap. Please login with your Google account to
google-melange.com and create your profile, then send me your username
so that I can invite you to become a mentor with the Fedora project.

The Fedora Project selected for Google Code In 2012

According to the Google Blog post[1] on Monday (12th Nov), The Fedora
Project has been selected for one of the mentoring organizations for
Google Code In 2012. Fedora featured 7 times in Google Summer of Code
program in 2005 to 2012 except in 2010 but this is the first time
Fedora project is featuring as one of the mentoring organization with
Google Code In program.
Interested mentors and students please do get enrolled with the
program and then the Fedora Project. All required information can be
found on GCI 2012 portal[2].
The main idea behind getting with this program is to get some
interaction with young students and create some long term relations
with them. We do believe all the contributors with in Fedora project
will support us.
It is a big challenge ahead of the Fedora Summer Coding team to
achieve in this winter, and we should succeed.

Google Code In 2012 - The Fedora Project Participation

Hello Folks,
After successful completion of Google Summer Code 2012, now we are looking
forward to experience Google Code In 2012.
We are on the initial stage of preparing so we need some help. If you are
interested in please let me know.
I am sure this would be worthy and a new experience for all of us since we
are going to deal with pre-university students (age 13-17).
I ll keep the list informed about the things happening related to the
program.
