Queries Regarding Fedora Android App
by Ahmed M. Abuamra
Hello,
Please, I don't clearly understand what these two points means in
the Fedora Android App's deliverables:
-
App backend for interfacing with 3rd party APIs to API limits
-
Integrate with FMN
Can you please explain it more?
Thank you,

Intro & Contribution request (release-bot project)
by Ahmed Shahwan
Hello,
I'm Ahmed Shahwan, from Egypt. I study Computers and Systems Engineering.
I like the Idea of the *relase-bot* project, I played with it for a bit and
automated my first release on a project that I'm working on. But it's still
far from perfect, so I want to take part in its development and I hope to
help make it more usable.
I'm trying to get involved by communicating on GitHub and experiencing more
with the bot to know deeply how it works, besides reading the code.
What else should I consider to do concerning this particular project? I
mean any hints or dos/donts to get accepted in GSoC this year?
Best regards,
Ahmed.

Thank you for your interest and welcome to Fedora.
Fedora app is an app for use by Fedora users and contributors alike
which provides an overview of what is going on in the Fedora
ecosystem.
The code is hosted at https://pagure.io/Fedora-app You can start with
one of the beginner issues.

Developing it in a cross-platform way is the main goal.
Building for iOS is just one of the many possible goals in this GSoC
project. There have been some unsuccessful attempts at getting it
built for iOS. It will require you to port some plugins, which do not
have iOS equivalent or use an equivalent replacement plugin.
I have cc'd to this email to the summer-coding mailing list. Most of
the discussions happen there.
Best,
Amitosh

Angular/React (mentioned in the project description)

When a new user comes to get on-boarded into CentOS CI to consume its
infrastructure, we need to create an account for that project
(creating a master node with duffy keys and cico client setup that can
request more nodes, creating a job in Jenkins, etc). We use ansible
that uses openshift modules to do all these from a template. That
template is the end result of this project. Once the Admin approves
the project request, he should get a button to download the template
(example given in the hackmd link). Later the Admin can use that to
provision account for the user(s).
