Hello.
I am Sarmistha. I am interested on the same project "CentOS CI user front end". I came across this thread while checking out the topics discussed. I read and understood the document attached.
But I have some doubts to be cleared-
1. Under the deliverables section of "CentOS CI user front end" idea, 2 points are mentioned. They are-
=> Engage in community discussion and do community research
=> Build initial mockups and gather community feedback
Are they referring to the CentOS community or the Fedora community? May I know the importance of the community research for the project. Is it only related to UI, or it has a wider scope, like what more type of problems user face?
2. What is OKD project creation? Can I have any links to understand it better?
3. Should we build templates and submit them (for a demo) in our final proposal?

Query regarding idea proposal
by Deepank Chauhan
Dear sir/madam,
I am an engineering student in my 3rd year of B.Tech, and I was looking forward into participating in GSOC. For the last couple of years I had been much involved with into Linux and the open source community. I had worked on Linux systems for quite a good amount of time now and feel myself comfortable with bash and command line. This is one of the reasons why I wanted the organisations to work with in GSOC to be a Linux based organisation as I want to contribute more towards Linux in it’s betterment. So I searched through some of the organisations and Fedora project was one of them. Out of the ideas in the idea list the idea of “Improving fedora android app” felt quite the one for me. I have also been working in Android using technologies like Xamarin and Flutter and Android Studio. I’ve been working on HTML, CSS and JS since school times so I feel comfortable with it. Angular was something with which I got introduced in the college and have been getting familiar with. Ionic seems something similar to flutter and Xamarin so I believe I can transcribe to it. Well cordova is something with which I am not much familiar with but I’ll get it on track right away, I am a quick learner. I assure you I can dedicatedly give around 35-40 hours a week for this project because I am very passionate towards the things I like and it is one of them. So if you feel I might be an appropriate person for handling this project please guide me through some procedures to make a highly appealing proposal for the same.
I’ll be waiting for a reply.
Thank you
Yours sincerely

GSoC Project:Fedora Change Wrangler
by Nova Kwok
Hello everyone!
I'm Nova, currently major in Computer Science(3rd Year) and looking
forward to work on Fedora Change Wrangler project in GSoC.
I saw the project idea on
"https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/mentored-projects/gsoc/2019/ideas/"
and found that the project "Change management tool" seems works fine
with me, as I have some experience in creating REST Apps(Using Laravel
before but now I'm studying Django) and data crawling(Recent work is on
analyzing the GitHub Repo: 996.icu).
Currently I work on Fedora translation team(Chinese) and I've previously
emailed Ben Cotton and have some discussion on this project.
Hope can join GSoC this year.
